I know that some other animals can start to hump objects when they have an irritation in their ano-genital area. But I’m not sure if that’s something that happens in bunnies too.

Professional pest control companies claim to be “safe for pets”. But I think they are referring to cats and dogs. It may not be safe for sensitive animals like birds and small critters. Yeah, I would have him checked first before concluding that he is just being picky. If he wasn’t a big hay eater to begin with, then it could have caused uneven wear on his teeth.

Poor Apollo. Bunnies can be difficult to medicate sometimes. I feel your pain! Once you get a routine down though, they often just settle into it. Does he accept a treat afterward? That usually helps if they are expecting to be rewarded.
