Hey guys, it did not show up immediately. At least, after I posted this thread, it showed the author as “EDAdmin”, and when I logged out and became an annonymous brower on BinkyBunny, I did not see the post. Not sure if that info is helpful. I am going to post another test post – please feel free to delete these as I don’t want to spam the forum…[Read more]

I’m getting the same glitches here that posts without pictures or links end up in moderation limbo. One ended up like that yesterday, and another one today. There were only text and smileys from my phone on the posts.
This is what I’m currently seeing in this topic: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/lick-then-dig-at-me/

Sometimes it’ll only upload if you go to your own profile and click on the “photos” tab. After it’s been added there you can add it in your posts.
Bunnies can get spectacularly ugly during moults. We used to have a topic called “moult monsters”. Bald spots can be part of a normal moult: sometimes the hair moulted quicker than it grew, you can…[Read more]

The turning around and peeing in front of you is likely to go away some time after she’s been spayed. Intact rabbit pee mark those they want to claim ownership of. It is a compliment, but its kind of difficult to fully appreciate it unless you’re a rabbit yourself.

Not yet, getting it done next month. When I got her first exam done a few days ago the vet asked if i wanted to spay her when i brought her back in for the 2nd vaccine shot. Ive setup a appt towards the end of July to get it done. When I let her out to play I usually have a stacking cup full of poop.

7 years seems about right for a government process lol.
Cynic that I am, I didn’t think itd ever get approved and stopped following the campaigns. It’s must be such a relief for those who kept at it. Kudos to them!
I’m at vet tomorrow evening with a foster so I may have to suss him out on timelines for when it should be expected in clini…[Read more]

jerseygirl replied to the topic Owen has stasis and isn't doing well in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 2 months ago
FWIW, I’ve always found pellets are the last thing my rabbits will wavt to eat again after a gut slow-down or bout of stasis. Im happy to read you were able to get Owen to eat the softened ones in the end.
Feel better soon, buddy! Also, appreciating the poops there in his litter-box! I’d paste the celebratory poop pic here if I could find it. 😉

I agree. She/He seems like a younger rabbit that still has some growing to do. Those rabbit very often have the look of needing to “grow into their ears” lol.
to me, he/she looks more finer-boned then I’d expect a Flemish to be. Even a young one.She sort it has the colouration of American Sable (breed) but that’s not always an indicator of a br…[Read more]

Bunniesareamazing started the topic Vegetable variety, how often should I give? in the forum DIET & CARE 4 years, 2 months ago
Hello!
So as you guys may know, rabbits should eat a variety of vegetables right? The thing is, is that some vegetables are higher in oxalates or calcium and those vegetables are recommended to give less frequently to prevent harm to the bunny. I wanted to ask if it would be safe to give these high oxalate/calcium vegetables everyday but in a…[Read more]

Bunniesareamazing replied to the topic Litter digging in the forum BEHAVIOR 4 years, 2 months ago
Which litter do you use? My bunny loves digging in paper bedding. I would recommend maybe switching litter and making a separate dig box with the litter she likes to dig in. If she’s still big on digging I’d just get a litterbox with high sides to prevent it from going everywhere. You could also get a dig mat maybe? I would introduce more met…[Read more]

Kale is fine to feed daily as long as it’s agreeing with your buns. I wouldn’t feed it as the bulk of their salad because has higher calcium, and I’d keep an eye on their pee. If you start noticing a ton of calcium in their pee (or it looks a little sludgey) you should reduce the amount. Some buns can also get a bit gassy from kale, but many do…[Read more]

Hello! I got a new litter box which I was hopeful would stop my bunny from digging. Well, it didn’t :/ and I can’t think of anything to try to stop her. Do you guys have any ideas?
