  Hi everyone, My make bunny seems to be molting because his poops have been linked together and he has a V shape on his head. I have been brushing him everyday for a week straight, but now i went to go check his bottom back and he has a big bald spot, his skin is pink. Is this normal for molting?

  Yes, sometimes they may get bald spots from molting. Could u show a picture of it? Does the skin look the same all around?

  Yes that sounds pretty normal, as long as the skin isn’t flaky or scaly.

  Bunnies can get spectacularly ugly during moults. We used to have a topic called “moult monsters”. Bald spots can be part of a normal moult: sometimes the hair moulted quicker than it grew, you can expect to see new hair within days. (Bald spots and flaky skin are signs of skin disease or parasites, but as long as it’s just bald and pink it’s fine.)
  
  Here’s our bridge bunny Breintje in one of his more spectacular moults. He didn’t want to be brushed when he was young, so we gently had to pluck out the loose tufts of fur while petting him. He looked like he’d been in a fight with a lawnmower 🤣

  Here’s a picture of my bun’s forehead molt earlier this year. Completely bald spot, the hair grew back in 2 weeks.
