Wick & Fable replied to the topic Litter digging in the forum BEHAVIOR 4 years, 1 month ago
A litter screen is sometimes very helpful in preventing digging. Also a larger litterbox can also help, and, counter-intuitively, one with low sides too. While high-sides prevents litter from coming out, it sometimes serves as a bowl that just encourages the rabbit to dig and dig and dig since the litter just keeps falling back in.

Wick & Fable replied to the topic Vegetable variety, how often should I give? in the forum DIET & CARE 4 years, 1 month ago
To be safe, I’d just give 2-3 times a week. In actuality, giving just a leaf every day, especially if paired with proper hydration and hay eating, likely won’t do much, but we are not nutritionists nor veterinarians, so I at least cannot say anything definitively.

Can you provide some more specific details? This can include pictures too.
- How old are your rabbits? Is it both of them, or just one having odd poops?
- How often is this actually happening (e.g., every day, a couple times a month…)
- What exactly is in their diet (name, brand, type) and what amounts are being presented of each?
Since this…[Read more]

Ellie from The Netherlands replied to the topic should I screen for EC in Bun Jovi? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years, 1 month ago
What the fluff…? They didn’t believe it?
Everywhere we went with Breintje people just smiled and told us that they were happy to see such a healthy senior. (Often followed by very sad tales about the rabbits they usually see. Damn, working with animals must be really depressing… They see so much neglect and animals dying long before their…[Read more]

Yeah, it’s a little worrisome that they didn’t believe you. I hope Bun Jovi really goes for breaking some real records in age!

Autumn7052 started the topic Weird poop in the forum DIET & CARE 4 years, 1 month ago
So my bunnies have recently started to have small poop and large egg shaped poop. I’ve also had to clean up two that had mucus in them. They are eating and drinking perfectly fine. They still go absolutely crazy over their pellets and eat hay every time I put some out. I’ve put some pineapple juice in their water cause I thought maybe it was con…[Read more]

Hey guys, it did not show up immediately. At least, after I posted this thread, it showed the author as “EDAdmin”, and when I logged out and became an annonymous brower on BinkyBunny, I did not see the post. Not sure if that info is helpful. I am going to post another test post – please feel free to delete these as I don’t want to spam the forum…[Read more]

Ellie from The Netherlands replied to the topic Can members ever become "trusted"? in the forum TECHNICAL STUFF 4 years, 1 month ago
I’m getting the same glitches here that posts without pictures or links end up in moderation limbo. One ended up like that yesterday, and another one today. There were only text and smileys from my phone on the posts.
This is what I’m currently seeing in this topic: https://binkybunny.com/forums/topic/lick-then-dig-at-me/

Sometimes it’ll only upload if you go to your own profile and click on the “photos” tab. After it’s been added there you can add it in your posts.
Bunnies can get spectacularly ugly during moults. We used to have a topic called “moult monsters”. Bald spots can be part of a normal moult: sometimes the hair moulted quicker than it grew, you can…[Read more]

The turning around and peeing in front of you is likely to go away some time after she’s been spayed. Intact rabbit pee mark those they want to claim ownership of. It is a compliment, but its kind of difficult to fully appreciate it unless you’re a rabbit yourself.

Not yet, getting it done next month. When I got her first exam done a few days ago the vet asked if i wanted to spay her when i brought her back in for the 2nd vaccine shot. Ive setup a appt towards the end of July to get it done. When I let her out to play I usually have a stacking cup full of poop.
