Glad to hear the improvements!
To bring in my personal experience, just one case, again, I do not find myself too concerned with the teeth grinding situation. My Wick has misaligned incisors and an underbite (you can see in the pic that the bottom incisors are not directly below the top and that they stick out more than what you’d expect on a…[Read more]

Odd update: So for the past two days, I’ve noticed a crow perching on a tree branch near our balcony. It’s not super unusual because there are trees and there are a couple in the area because it’s a residential space. This morning, I put them on the balcony as usual and I went to glance and noticed the crow sitting right on the balcony fence. M…[Read more]

I’ll pick up some dried herbs today. I hope it works! Unfortunately, I only have fake grass in my yard or I would’ve tried that.

We are reducing our Critical Care feedings from three a day to two (one in the morning, one in the evening). We have two plates of mushed pellets spread out in Hunny’s corral. She took a couple nibbles and did a lot of poops overnight. I hope Hunny eats on her own now that she’ll have a chance to be hungrier. I just worry because we’ve never been…[Read more]

Glad he’s doing better! I would keep giving the Simethicone, the only time my guy has tummy trouble is when he’s shedding, Simethicone always does the trick.

Hi BM, it’s good to hear from you! 🙂 Sounds like a lot has changed for you, I’m glad things are going well! I’m sorry to hear about Roxie, but it’s good that Caesar is doing fine on his own. I feel the same way about the quarantine thing, the hubbby and I are terrible homebodies, turns out our regular life isn’t that different from quarantine…[Read more]

Oh my, look at him. He looks SO happy. 😀 I know if I gave Oscar a bed he would ignore it, or destroy it. Fresno knows how good he has it now.

I agree with Wick, it might be worth a try to feed her less Critical Care, it is mainly meant for rabbits who eat basically nothing. Since she is eating some, she might just never get hungry/motivated enough in between CC feedings. Keep in mind she likely eats more than you see, since you can’t watch her every second of the day. Maybe cut it down…[Read more]

Diatomaceous earth is not good to breathe in. If you put a little bit on his head, I dont think he would have much chance of breathing it in. It’s not toxic if he ingests some. But I dont know how effective it would be against fleas and eggs that are actually on the animal. It is mostly used to treat the environment, since its mechanism of action…[Read more]

Louiethebunny started the topic rabbit urine in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 3 months ago
Is it normal for rabbit urine to suddenly become stronger smelling? My rabbit’s litter box used to have very very little odor, but lately, it has been smelling stronger. I clean it out every other day, so it isn’t super soiled. He is a neutered 6 mo male, could it be hormones? His litter box has a liner, hay, and CareFresh. I have started putting…[Read more]

Hellloooooo everyone!
I’m so excited the forums are back up and running! I missed everyone. 🙂
A LOT has changed since I was last here (has it been 2 or 3 years since things went down? I know it’s been awhile!)
For starters, I got divorced from my husband about 2 years ago. It was for the better, as he was not healthy for me.
I graduated in…[Read more]

I’ve never had a bunny lay in a bed I’ve given them before, and he’s so dang cute in it. This one is pretty old and not the softest anymore but my mom bought him a new comfy one and he still chose this one lol. Go figure. I guess I’m just going to wait to get a prescription for Revolution on Tuesday and I’ll either get some for the girls too…[Read more]

I just use paper bags from the store to absorb extra urine, because we already have them and I don’t want to purchase pee pads.

I agree with the others. Neutering him will most likely solve the problem He won’t go back to being a cuddly baby, but he will definitely calm down. Just keep in mind that it won’t be overnight. It takes time post-neuter for the hormones to leave their system.
