That’s tough because it’s hay… unfortunately I can only think of cutting out the spoiled bits or making sure it dries. Since it’s hay, it can still mold when getting wet after a while.

Thanks guys lol. For some reason Pinky decided that the farm hay is good today, and has been stuffing his mouth with it. He climbed up to eat out of the hay box so I put some in his litter box to see if he would eat it and he’s eating it right now… We’ll see how long this lasts!

It’s finally getting colder here in Canada, it’s fall! 🙂 I want to know if anyone has tips on how to keep bunnies warm when it’s colder. All 4 of my brats are caged at night. During the day, they rule the house and yard. I took the photos of them before turning them loose. At night, my daughter’s cats run the house and the dogs have the yard. Night time and vet visits and bad weather are the only times they are in cages. By bad weather, I mean hurricanes or tornadoes. I second the dry herbs and weeds approach! When I had a poopy butt-prone bun (Bam, the bun in my avatar), I dried pretty much everything for him, except grass which he only ate fresh, his tummy tolerated that.

It scares me too! But I’ve seen him flop over all the way on his side like that, sometimes with his nose facing up. So I tried to stay calm and just look at his stomach for movement… He’s just a happy bunny I guess lol!

He had fun running through his cardboard tunnel today, probably tired him out.
