Oh sorry, not sure why the link isn’t “linking” properly, but the link itself seems to work – can you see the video now?

(Reviewed and approved by Wick)I’m not sure…. it seemed more violent then breathing (you can see his body moving in a slight jerky motion), but I…[Read more]

Thank you for the update, he looks amazing! π
I wish his previous owners could see this, maybe it would help them figure out what crappy people they are.

Oh he looks beautiful! I feel like a see more spark in those eyes, and the difference in his paws especially is so heartwarming. I also sense more sass in the now picture, haha.

Unfortunately it looks like the video did not insert correctly. Some people have had success in uploading it privately to Youtube or Google Drive and sharing a private link.
My instinct is that if it only lasted a short while, he might have been positioned in a way that made him prone to sounding more nasally in breathing? Are there any signs…[Read more]

His nose and ears are darker because temps are cooler.Same would go for his tail and feet. The Himalayan gene, with gives California rabbits their characteristic pattern, responds to ambient temperature. This means of course that the ear, nose, feet and tail will become lighter again in the spring 😊
He looks like a real bun now, no longer a poor…[Read more]

Has anyone had this before?
Not sure if you can hear well (you will have to put it on maximum volume and then you can only hear it a bit), but essentially Snowball was making this snorting noise (inward it seems) for about 20 seconds.Β He stopped now and I haven’t heard it since, but I do find it weird.

Good idea Wick! Also, placing a baby gate in the doorway may not be a bad idea either.
It’s a pain to cover all of the baseboards with cardboard. The good news is that after he is neutered, he may “forget” about the baseboards. So the cardboard may not need to be permanent. This is especially true if you are able to work on redirecting him to…[Read more]

They are going to be “wood” floors. I believe they are the lock-click ones that dont do well when they get wet though. I forget what they are called at the moment

@LBJ10 We are doing good! Snickers has had quite a few health issues recently as she is starting to get a little older (my baby is 9!), but the buns (Loki and Finnegan) are doing well. Currently packing as my bf and I are in the process of buying a house. I’m sure you’ll be seeing a thread on how to move the buns while causing the least stress…[Read more]

Some bunnies just don’t feel the urge to run around like maniacs. As long as their energy level remains what is “normal” for them, then it isn’t anything to be concerned about.

Oops the pics ended up being giant, my bad. I’m super relieved about it jerseygirl, finding a home for him would be so difficult because I wouldn’t trust anyone to take care of him correctly lol. I have no idea how I would go about it.
Here’s just one more comparison that’s my favorite. Beautiful boy.

I see videos of bunnies racing around super fast. I havenβt seen my bunnies do this yet.
They will get a sudden burst of energy sometimes and run through the hidey house and into the litter box. Pinky runs through the cardboard tunnel sometimes.
I let them out mostly at night and the mornings when Iβm not cleaning their pens. They usually get…[Read more]

It is always a hard blow when they leave us, we never really know just how much we loved them until they’re gone. π
Taking some time to grieve is good, although, we all handle grief differently, with me, I like to rest for a few days and try to accept what is most cruel. π As you said though, she will live on…[Read more]

Can you put a second level of NIC grids in the area in front of the door? You can make one swing like a door so you can easily step to-and-fro. You can use a binder clip or something else to fasten it shut.
My Fable very much has chewed on baseboards, doors, wall corners, etc.. Unfortunately the damage is permanent, so I understand any…[Read more]
