Cataracts can develop very slowly with age in both eyes. This is normal. What isn’t normal is a cataract that develops quickly, especially if it’s only in one eye. Looks like it is healing well to me!  There are internal layers that have to heal as well, which is why spays have a long recovery time.

It does look fine! 14 days is the normal estimate for inner and outer wound healing after a spay. So its safest to keep her in a limited space for another week, ie no jumping or crazy running around just yet.
