Hi, I got my 10 month old Holland lop spayed on November 20th. She’s eating and acting normal now but my question is related to her stitches. To me, it looks normal and surprisingly healed for it being about a week. I’m not too worried but still, does this look normal to everyone?
        Thank you!

Thank you for replying! I’m glad to hear others don’t see anything wrong that I missed or looked normal to me but wasn’t!

It does look fine! 14 days is the normal estimate for inner and outer wound healing after a spay. So its safest to keep her in a limited space for another week, ie no jumping or crazy running around just yet.

Thanks for the reply! It’s hard to stop her from running and doing binky’s.

She does little ones since she can’t go all out in a larger area like she normally would, I always feel bad stopping her 😥

Looks like it is healing well to me!  There are internal layers that have to heal as well, which is why spays have a long recovery time.

Thanks for replying! Yeah I guess I didn’t think for inner healing as well that makes sense.

Thank you for the reply! It makes me feel relaxed that what I think looks normal for the healing is indeed normal!
