My vet saw the video, she thinks the same maybe something in his mouth bothering. They will see him next Monday. If bunny stops eating and drinking then take him to the emergency. Our emergency does not have an exotic vet(Nova Scotia, Canada)

Oh, adorable! 😀

LBJ10 replied to the topic Jealousy or Territorial? Please help! in the forum BEHAVIOR 4 years, 8 months ago
One bunny can definitely become more possessive of their human… but aggressive behavior like you’re describing is usually hormone-driven. How long has it been since they were neutered? Perhaps it was too soon for reintroduction? It can taken several weeks for hormones to settle following neutering.

It isn’t pretty, but several layers of cardboard can do the trick too.

That’s a good point Dana. A smaller liver torsion can cause symptoms of similar to those of GI issues. What kind of blood work did the vet do?

I moved your thread so more people will see it. I agree with Dana. As long as there is no sign of flystrike, it was probably just maggots that found the accumulation of waste a suitable home. The problem should resolve itself after everything has had a good cleaning.

There is great information on it here: https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Baby_rabbits_(domestic) , as well as here: https://flashsplace.webs.com/accidentallitters.htm … below are responses based on my interpretation of information found in…[Read more]

Yeah, Carefresh is not very good for odor control. Pine pellet litter like Feline Pine or (cheaper) horse stall pine pellets are much better at controlling odor. The pine pellets are safe because they are kiln dried.
