I know that some other animals can start to hump objects when they have an irritation in their ano-genital area. But I’m not sure if that’s something that happens in bunnies too.

You’re not a bad bun owner lol. I have a house full of senior bunnies and cannot recall when last had blood test done. I def understand the reluctance to take them out of their comfort zone.

Professional pest control companies claim to be “safe for pets”. But I think they are referring to cats and dogs. It may not be safe for sensitive animals like birds and small critters.
