Ellie from The Netherlands started the topic Taking Molly to an expert clinic: hypersexuality, suspected adrenal tumor in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 3 years, 11 months ago
Oof, that was a big shock! But at least: it’s someone who knows what he’s talking about!
I’ve been calling vets in our area, but nobody knew what do to with our girl Molly. The vets just looked at each other and went: “But she’s spayed…”. When I asked about getting her hormones tested they answered that that couldn’t be done, and that was…[Read more]

last update i promise 😭, she’s acting completely fine now and eating!!! the gas meds helped a lot. hopefully she stays like this and doesnt get sick again. i think it was from how bad she’s been shedding.
i would delete the original post since she’s better but im not sure how to?

yesterday pumpkin was acting completely fine, doing binkys and all. this morning she ate her breakfast like she was starving (as she always does) and just 1 or 2 hours ago she was begging me for pellets. when i walked into my room a few minutes ago she was in her box all of a sudden (she only goes in there to nap in the middle of the day) and wont…[Read more]

Hi and welcome, Manushi and Mochi! Mochi is super cute!
It can be a bit daunting to take on a rabbit, but that’s why these forums exist. There are so many questions, big and small, that crop up as you go, and its very nice to have other bun humans to discuss things with. I’ve been there myself, when I happened to find a stray rabbit and took him…[Read more]

Welcome to Binkybunny!! We absolutely love seeing new bunny pictures 🙂

Welcome to Binkybunny Forums! Unfortunately, this is not an appropriate medium to find a bunnysitter/boarder. I recommend doing web searches of your local CA rabbit rescues and see what they list as petsitting options. Being in California, I’m sure you’ll be able to find someone!
See here for the House Rabbit Society chapters in CA:…[Read more]

I am looking for someone willing to take in my two bonded female adult rabbits (4lbs each) within their house. Â I am traveling in late September for 9 days. Â Anyone in Santa Cruz, San Jose, Los Gatos, Soquel, Santa Clara, Campbell, Milpitas, Cupertino, or other areas close by is fine. Â I need someone rabbit savvy who can house my two rabbits in on…[Read more]

Some bunnies can stress themselves into GI upset, so I’m not surprised. It sounds like she very much needs to have people around.

Seems like she is 98% back to her normal self, she now runs to the door to the outside and even tried to bite me a lil when I didn’t let her go outside, which is very her lol she’s spoiled. But seems like it took her 5 days to get back to normal…which is crazy because after a car ride it only takes her an hour. I guess we won’t be going away anymore 😛

That’s a great idea, thanks! He usually goes to a specific spot in the room to listen (for the best acoustic I guess) when we play music he likes, but I somehow haven’t thought of trying to play him some relaxing music in the evening.

I thought once a day was enough, but I guess not. She is doing better, but she was in bed with us in the evening and I noticed she was eating almost ALL the poopies she was making….so I’m thinking maybe something with her digestion did get out of balance. Maybe she knows that she’s not digesting them well, so she eats all of them. Before she would…[Read more]

It’s like Thumper knew I needed a little something extra sweet today since it’s been a week since we lost Demon and as I was petting him he tucked his little paws under him and laid down which he never did before! And he’s been funny, twice I needed to grab a handful of hay and shake it to get him to his hay rack instead of stealing from…[Read more]
