        Hello everyone!

I became a rabbit mom just week ago and I am new to binky bunny. My name is Manushi and my rabbit is a mini lop named Mochi. She is almost 2 years old and a very social and energetic bunny (a little overboard sometimes 😂). She is always curious to meet new people and would give zoomies if she likes you. She would get spayed soon once she settles well.

This is my first time being a pet owner except for a fish. The reason to adopt a rabbit is I am in a grad school and was looking for a pet that is more interactive and playful to brighten up my day and I just happen to find Mochi at right time.I am very nervous about doing things right for Mochi and reading posts here helps me.  I am exited to know all other bunny parents here.

Welcome to Binkybunny!! We absolutely love seeing new bunny pictures 🙂

A pet rabbit can be a very frustrating, but very fulfilling first pet. If you haven’t already, please look through the RABBIT INFO section of our site for important care information. I also recommend looking here as well: https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/New_Rabbit_Owner_Primer

It is great that you already have spaying on your mind. It can be a nerve-wracking decision, but the best one.

Hi and welcome, Manushi and Mochi! Mochi is super cute!

It can be a bit daunting to take on a rabbit, but that’s why these forums exist. There are so many questions, big and small, that crop up as you go, and its very nice to have other bun humans to discuss things with. I’ve been there myself, when I happened to find a stray rabbit and took him in.

It seems Mochi is an outgoing little girl 😍 Having her spayed is the best idea, it wont change her true personality but it will greatly decrease the risk of many not-so-nice things such as territorial marking and territorial aggression and false pregnancies – and first and foremost, it will eliminate the risk of reproductive tract  cancers.
