Agree with Bam, they should be separated  and neutered as it sounds like they are already fighting due to their hormones. They are brothers and they get along great. They are not fixed. I’m trying to decide if I’m going to fix them. They are a little over a year old.

they do play rough sometimes. We separate them at nighttime.

Thanks for your replies. The first thing I need to do is get the male neutered and wait for the females to give birth. I will contact some rescue centers in time to see what they can do.

My first guess would be that the other bun bit the bun that now has a scab.

Are your buns neutered? Two intact males cant live peacefully together. They will hurt each other. They can be friends one minute, mortal enemies the next.

Some things you can try rubbing on surfaces like baseboards to prevent chewing are ivory soap or a clove of garlic. Those two things have helped me with door frames and baseboards that I can’t protect in other ways.
