I would continue what bun was already eating and take your bun in to the vet asap. During the visit, ask them about their recommendation for bun’s diet. That way you are feeding what bun specifically needs based on how bun is growing.

I would go ahead and get bun vaccinated. The stress is just a day and bun has to see vet anyways.

Ended up making a very runny critical care and that helped a little.  Also she didn’t seem in pain just stressed so skipped the gabapetin for the 2nd day (it was just for pain). Also eventually gave up on trying to force feed her as she would get so stressed and end up worse. She was eating a little on her own, so just tried to encourage that.…[Read more]

What are the ear drops? I’m surprised the vet didn’t prescribe an oral antibiotic.

Ear infections often first present as GI stasis, my vet said in a rabbit ear webbinar last year. It’s because ear infections are very painful. Rabbits are sensitive to pain and tend to stop eating when in pain.

What kind of cataract is it? Front or back? Also, cataracts can be caused by EC so you may want to take that into consideration.

Can you wean her off of it instead of just stopping?
