Onix will sometimes do this and make a loud hacking cough sound like it’s gone down the wrong pipe. I know I shouldn’t but it makes me laugh so much because he will just go straight back to inhaling his water like he hasn’t drank for a month.

My rabbit is literally the same, he’s now got the nickname Rat because he’s just so intense and I swear he loves being told off too!

Something I’ve found helps with chewing is placing the Oxbow corner toys and play tables placed around corners. I rub banana or some other treats on them too to show that the toys are for chewing and furniture isn’t. Shelving will also be your best friend! Yes, at least Hunny tries. I just wish she would more frequently. She’s gotta be hungry…

Unfortunately, Hunny has trouble eating even tiny pieces of hay/greens. It’s like she’s forgotten how to chew/use her mouth.

At least she is still trying! Hopefully she will start getting more food down. I assume you have already tried shredding the greens up into little pieces? Sometimes that helps if a bunny is having trouble manipulating large things into their mouth.
