I am not experienced with that fly guard spray, so I cannot vouch for its safety. You would probably still need to go through the task of manually removing all of them so itd be good to find a tool or method that works best.

Hazel: They are all girls! (Although some of them like to think otherwise:lol:) I got them from someone who has lots of rabbits, so I can’t tell what Smokey and OB’s breed is. I’m guessing they are all descended from a Californian and an Australian?

It’s not weird (if you are a bunny). It’s a social grooming behavior. Many buns start by licking furniture and pillows before they venture to lick their human. I think Louie could be building up to that.  It’s very friendly. I had a bun who liked to lick his crinkly tunnel. Some buns meticulously groom their stuffy toys.

I know very well the feeling – the way my bunny left was also very traumatising and felt very wrong. Nothing can prepare us for when they leave, so its only natural to feel the way you do. I’m surprised the vet didn’t prescribe something just to be safe. Ivermectin would be effective against most mites.

Two weeks isn’t a lot of time, especially for a new bunny. Since she is still exploring her environment I would wait it out, patience is key.
