I think it would be better to hold off on that for now. 10 square feet would be okay for one rabbit, you should have twice that size for two. And even then, as Sonn said, 1-4 hours isn’t enough playtime. 4 hours is the absolute minimum.

@HipHopBunny : Thank you for asking, I appreciate it! 🙂  He’s doing well, he started showing signs of low blood sugar at half the original dose, so I bumped it back up to the previous dose he was fine with, and so far so good. He went from 1.4ml daily to 0.8ml. 🙂  So the tumors are still there, but hopefully they will continue to shrink.

Veggies should be safe if it’s not a very young baby and since it’s pooping fine after 5 days, I think you can just keep doing what you’re doing. That’s horrible how people just dump their pet rabbits out there, most of them won’t have the instincts to survive and die. 🙁

thank you so much for the reply! bambi was spayed at about 5/6 months old about 3 weeks ago. she has become more aggressive and biting me more. hopefully she should calm down and then we will re introduce the two again. thank you 

1 hour is not nearly enough time if caged. Even with large caging, they need at the very least 4 hours/day. Even though they are small animals they need a lot of exercise.

Is there a way you could keep the dog and rabbit/s separated longer daily?

This looks fun. What did you use as the base of the second “floor” and how did you connect it and make it stable? Also, have you had any issues with your bunny not wanting to use its litter box with it being under there like that?

I also have a dog crate for my rabbit’s home, but I like the idea of adding another floor.

I don’t know if this classifies as snuggling. Tater Tot likes to relax under my lab Waverly.

@PrinceDorian LOL 😆 That describes it, a teen who doesn’t want a hug in public, that one sure tickled my funny bone! 😆 I will give my girls some pets for you, hopefully, they will stay still long enough for me to actually get some good pictures of them… 🙄
