Your bed smells very much like you so she’s pooping on it to mark it. As for peeing on it, bunnies like to pee on soft things. Best advice is to either block off your bed so bun can’t get on it or buy a cheap shower curtain and lay it over your bed while you’re gone.
One of my buns gets the Sherwood digestive tabs as a “treat”. IMO, the Oxbow tabs are fine as long as you view them as a treat but the tabs are hard as a rock! My bunnies like them and I used to give them as treats but it takes a hammer to break them!
You should only brushing out the loose fur and tufts that come out with gentle combing/brushing. The white fur is the natural undercoat. The lines on his sides may just be a natural part of his coat and will tend to be where his shed lines become more prominant during molts. You should definitely not have to tug at the fur, and doing so can…[Read more]
Toss the pine shavings. Not safe. Aspen shavings are safe but messy. Many people use pine pelleted litter (kiln dried) or paper type litter. Whether you choose to go with a pelleted litter or paper type litter, check out the litter screens in the Binky Bunny store (there’s a great video on the page too) — they’ll save you a ton of money on litter!
Shop vac with larger diameter hose for bunny areas and whatever you like best for non-bunny areas. Shop vac with good size hose will suck up pretty much any bunny mess! I’ll admit that I’ve even used it to suck dirty litter out of the litterbox (only time it totally clogged doing that was when Moshi buried a toy in the litterbox and I didn’t know it!)

She does it fast, but her bonded brother has picked up on it and did it during brushing the other night. He did it slower so it was like stomp one front foot, psuse,…[Read more]
I’m not going to be any help here, but go for it!!!! She sounds like she has claimed you as her person!!! Monty was scary demon bun but you were the only one who understood him! I absolutely loved that you loved him! Sonn, you were a wonderful bun parent and you have given buns that were doomed to die or live without human love a wonderful h…[Read more]
You can overlap the grids, but I have to agree that xpens are less expensive and much easier to manage. I have both a complete xpen setup and a NIC condo with an cpen “patio”, and the xpen setup is so much easier to clean. Kieko’s NIC grid condo is 4 grids wide, 4 grids tall, and 2 grids deep, with literally over 500 zip ties and two woode…[Read more]
Kindof….they do have to work things out on their own and you should definitely redirect them if they start to show signs of an impending fight, but sometimes you also need to redirect them if one of the buns appears overly stressed.
