Oh I know what you mean. What about a big piece of linoleum? Maybe with some pee pads underneath to catch any spills that run off the sides?

Well, things were going OK with the bonder until they weren’t. Got this update last night:
<p class=”p1″>“Well the girls tangled late in the evening last night so we are taking a break. They were actually doing just fine and BJ came over and mounted Bonnie and Myra hopped over full speed and tangled with Bonnie. Little nip on Myra’s lip not big…[Read more]

Antibiotics as well as other meds can change the color of the pee. If it’s a uniform reddish orange color that deepens as the pee dries, it’s unlikely to be blood in the urine. Rabbits can pee reddish orange due o plant pigments in their food (often dandelion or carrots), certain medications, or spontaneously f ex after the first cold spell in the…[Read more]

DanaNM replied to the topic Want to bond 3 females in the forum BONDING 5 years, 11 months ago

You will need to go through the proper bonding process just as you did with the duo if you want to add a third. introducing any new rabbit into a household can also upset the current bond, especially if it is a bit tenuous to begin with. You would also need to wait for the baby to get old enough to be spayed. Any particular reason why you are…[Read more]

That is nice! Treat balls are good because they give the bun good exercise and use of their brains, plus it slows their eating down, which reduces the risk of choking on pellets. A homemade treat toy like this is even better, it can be madee it of stuff you already have in your home!

I currently have 2 female rabbits who are bonded, Fefe(2 yrs) and Bunbun(3 yrs). Fefe was previously bonded with another female that past away. I got BunBun a few months later. They took awhile to bond. They were separated at first and Fefe would always try to get into Bunbun’s cage and try to fight. Now they get along but there is some little t…[Read more]

PFPbunbun replied to the topic Has anyone elses rabbits taken a long time to recover from stasis/gas? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 5 years, 11 months ago

My bun (2 years old, male) is currently in recovery, according to our vet, even though he has these recurring GI symptoms for about 6 weeks already. He is very energetic at night, he shows no sign of pain or stress, but he just refused to eat and rarely drinks, and really inactive in the daytime. It breaks my heart that I need to force-feed him…[Read more]

    Or zip ties?

For something stationary to chew on you could try attaching pieces of wood to something heavy, like a piece of plywood. Or if you have a heavy enough piece of wood with nice edges on it, that might work too. Just make sure whatever you use is bunny-safe.

Thank you for the support and love for Fresno everyone! 🥰 Thank you HipHopBunny and LBJ!

Bam – that’s so interesting. Temps were high when I got him and they’re still pretty high now (80s and 90s), so I wonder if it’s just the AC or maybe his inner calendar in the works? I’ll have to pay attention to that!

Do you have the connectors those grids typically come with? The way the grids are angled, you can probably put two connectors on the corners of the grid in the center and that will hold up a second grid.

Hi Wick – Thanks for your thoughts.  Maybe I am just a bit paranoid…  I definitely can overthink sometimes!  He left a lot of cecotropes but I would guess that I should be more alert to a pattern rather than a single time – i.e. if it happens tomorrow as well. It’s hard to tell what is a serious concern and what is not.  The head shaking thi…[Read more]

Those lashes are MINE. Can I just rob them and put them on me? 😛 He’s adorable. 🙂
