Yeah, Starlight eats them quite often. Usually afternoon and when I’m sleeping. So yes I’d say multiple times is normal.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m going to get a new litterbox soon and will look for something hard plastic or not chewable.  But for now I put a toilet paper roll over it and it seems to be working fine.

Have they checked his liver enzymes? They can be elevated due to stasis alone, but since this has been going on for a while, an ultrasound of the liver to rule out a problem there could be good.

Wow. I just looked and there is a nearly identical thread in this forum section asking this same question ! Very sorry I did not notice.before posting. The idea in there of linoleum is very good.

Could you put a piece of cardboard on top of the cage? You could secure it with clips or zipties. I agree with the others. Either make a safe way for her to get up and down or find a way to block access completely.

You could put a blanket or something else on top to make it safe for her to be on top of?

Or block access with storage cube grids or something similar.

Haha! She actually likes them, despite appearances! I was able to make her pen larger since I don’t have to deal with an x-pen buffer!  And now all three are sleeping near each other on opposite sides 🙂 <3
