I’ve completely switched him to grass hay yesterday and he’s still been consistently pooing like normal. With my first bunny I bought this nice expensive dog bed for him. He pee’d in it every chance he got. I learned really fast that if it was cloth he was going to pee on it. Lol.

Alfalfa can be fuzzy on the undersides of the leaves, so I wouldn’t be worried about that necessarily. The smell is more concerning for sure. I agree that it will probably be fine to just stop feeding since he’s already eating at least some grass hay.

Is the area hard? It looks more like a hernia than an abscess. But a hernia would be soft to the touch. Abscesses are firm because the puss is so thick.
