Alfalfa can be fuzzy on the undersides of the leaves, so I wouldn’t be worried about that necessarily. The smell is more concerning for sure. I agree that it will probably be fine to just stop feeding since he’s already eating at least some grass hay.

Is the area hard? It looks more like a hernia than an abscess. But a hernia would be soft to the touch. Abscesses are firm because the puss is so thick.

It doesn’t need to look like him. 🙂 Bunnies don’t really know what they look like. It doesn’t actually even need to look like a rabbit necessarily, I’ve seen bunnies cuddling with stuffies of elephants, hedgehogs, teddies, etc. I think the size  and overall shape is more important.

Vet thinks to think it is molting, he did suggest pineapple and papaya around that time to help break down any fluff in the digestive tract. Also he has a prescription in his records if I ever need it. Didn’t know about pineapple so may try that out since Dorian thinks papaya is yucky (such a picky bun).
