My Doe (2 yrs) recently came home from the vet after having gi stasis. she’s currently on the mend, however her and her buck brother (4yrs) have started fighting. It’s only been 2 weeks, but she does sound like she’s curious. This is typical of young bunnies. She wants to check you out, but not necessarily be touched. The fact that she will take food and treats from your hand is a good sign that she is comfortable with you. And yes, that IS all they care about – food, food, food. I just got a new bunny 2 weeks ago (Holland Lop) and I think she is starting to like me? I can’t really tell because it’s only when I have food / treats. Regardless if we can pinpoint what caused it, this will need to be examined by a vet for treatment, so I’d get your rabbit in ASAP, especially if it’s impacting food/water intake at this point.

It’s hard to tell from the picture what that is. It could be a small abscess (hay poke) or it could be a papilloma or similar.

As Bam pointed out, if he’s getting Critical Care, he won’t be too interested in water simply because the CC is already hydrating him.

I’ve only seen the tip of the tail exposed, like a centimeter or so. It was my bun Vilde’s tail, he had very soft, long hair and the tip of the tail protruded. Only visible when I pet him and “divided” the fur with my hand. His tail wasn’t as pink as on your picture, it was a lot paler. Pink is better if compared to blueish-greyish, which could…[Read more]

It will likely be fine, but it would be nice to add an additional buffer. Could you add an extra gate or x-pen to keep them away from the door? Not sure what the layout of your home is, but if you could keep your buns out of the room that connects to the office then you wouldn’t have any issues.
