If you do pet stroller make sure peanut doesn’t start making holes in the mesh… no escaping bunnies

You dont have to give motility meds for a full 5 day course like you should with antibiotics, but it’d really be best if you could ask your vet over the phone. I had a bun who was prescribed metoclopramide as needed, but his tummy problems were not the same as your bun’s.

If he is feeling better I don’t think you need to do the full 5 days of medicine. It’s very possible that since you gave it right away it didn’t take as much time to work.

I’ve had him since he was 3 months old, and he’s a little over 5.5 years now. I’m in Jersey, so it does get hot but he’s strictly an indoor rabbit and we always keep the apartment the same temperature.

How long have you had him? Just wonder if this is a new change in a bun you’ve had a long time, or a newer bunny? Is it very hot where you are? The heat can really mess with bunnies.

Simethicone is sold as baby gas drops at pharmacies. Some vets are on board with it, some aren’t (LOL), but it has a lot of anecdotal support in the bunny community!

Hmmm, this is a tough one. It can take a while for stasis treatments to work, and a lot of advice says to have some patience and allow things to work before trying additional aggressive treatments. Some bunnies enjoy being in a pet stroller if you’re looking to go for a “walk”.

I set them up in a ex pen last evening and my plan was to keep them in there until there was a scuffle. There was no scuffles surprisingly! It lasted the whole night and is still going… they are bonded! They are grooming, cuddling, everything!!!

LBJ10 covered the eating and drinking but I wanted to know more about the space the bunny has how big is it?

sorry for very late reply yep his all good xd for me its more likely if 12 hours nothing gone wrong less worries and a day of eating and pooping his perfectly safe.
