So earlier I dropped a receipt on the floor by accident and one of my bunnies took and started running around the room with it in her mouth and she would not let me have it. I chased her, well kind off slowly chased her around the room and I just stood there watching her with a smile on my face thinking how adorable it was.
What is your bunny moment?

So I have account that I’ve not used in a few years because I just used it to to keep money in and I got a letter recently that says its inactive and I need to re-activate it so I went to my bank to do just that and I was told I will be sent a new card and pin.
This is where it gets tricky… I don’t always get my mail and now I’m worried that my…[Read more]

I tend not to give my bunnies cardboard or paper because they literally eat it and I don’t think it would do any favors on there digestive system. I could be wrong but I’d rather play it safe.

What I find interesting is all these youtube bunny pen/free roam videos where they have a dog pillow and a material tunnel made from fabric as well as carpet on there pen floor or rug. In reality those sorts of setups would never work for 99% of bunnies because they chew everything and there is no stopping them because that is what rabbits…[Read more]

I got my boy, Takoda aka Toki bear, on March 26. He’s a mini rex/ lionhead mix. (7 months old and neutered) And around 3 months ago I got him his forever…[Read more]

Yeah I think the flimsier stuff is usually sold as “Poultry netting”, that’s the one to avoid. And I agree that bringing them in at night would be safest, even if the run is very secure.

Hi Everyone, thank you for your previous posts and my sincerest apologies for the delay in my response. Thought I wrote back, but was out of town and my internet connection was spotty so it probably didn’t upload.
Anyways, as its been a few months, has anyone had any success with any new litters? @Lindsey, so glad you were able to figure that out…[Read more]

Well, as far as vacs go, it’s not bad. Definitely not as loud as my last ones.
My buns aren’t bothered by it, but nothing fazes Walter in the slightest.

- Is it pretty quiet? Im looking for a good vac for my buns room. I need something that won’t be frightening to them so I don’t have to keep taking them out of the room everytime I vaccum 😜

Bam replied to the topic not using litter box in the forum DIET & CARE 2 years, 10 months ago
It could be that she thinks the litter you use is unpleasant to sit in. Id start by looking over the litterbox-situation. If you get a second litterbox it might help. You move the litterbox to where she pees. If she thinks the litterbox is too small (rabbits prefer litterboxes on the bigger side) or too dirty, that could be cause for her to…[Read more]

my four year old dutch hotot hasn’t been using her litter box and has been peeing outside next to it instead. she started doing this a few weeks ago but i’m not sure why. is this because she needs a new litter box that smells less? or something more serious?

RHDV is throughout the western half of the US. Both domestic and wild cases have been reported in almost every state west of the Rocky Mountains. So yes, you most definitely should ask your vet about the vaccine. The disease can spread between wild and domestic rabbits. It can also be spread by insects.
If they can come and go as they please,…[Read more]

For bunny proofing I like to use NIC cube grids to block off areas with lots of wires, rather than trying to protect them individually.
As for predators and outdoor runs, chicken wire is not predator proof. It keeps chickens in but predators like coyotes can easily chew through it. You would want to use something like hardware cloth. There’s…[Read more]
