I’ve also heard grinding/chattering across a room. Usually even if that’s loud, you can still tell the difference between loud tooth purring and unhappy grinding. An unhappy grinding is a loud distinct crunching.

My rabbit is pretty difficult as well. We are also working on free roaming but I’ve come to the realization that it’s okay to just have a large x-pen. Which keeps him from being super destructive and peeing all over the place!
