Judging by the dates on your post it seems that they have only really been bonding for a month, so I wouldn’t be too worried, I think it is still pretty normal for them to be sorting things out. However I do understand what your saying and it might be that its time to change up the tattics a bit? I think it could be territory related, if they were…[Read more]

How warm does it get where the buns are? Here are some simple DIY cooling tips: https://binkybunny.com/infocategory/cooling-tips/
Young buns can however “shake”, or how to describe it, they sort of move with their breathing, after having been active. It’s not considered abnormal.

Hi again!
A little update. Our bunny isn’t peeing as often outside her litterbox anymore. She still is a bit, especially on the bed but that’s normal for her. She never went on antibiotics because she had a tiny stasis episode a day before she was supposed to start getting them. Her not eating or drinking was most likely due to that. She got…[Read more]

Maybe. I’ve trimmed her fur, brushed her, providing cold water and greens…She just continues to lay on the tiles. I think she isn’t eating as much as she used to. She still has appetite and gets exited about breakfast, dinner…but isn’t eating the same amount from before.

Hi so around where I am right now it’s getting warmer, anyway where my bunnies are tends to be the warmest cause it’s the top floor, I’ve been keeping an eye on them when I get home and it’s not like it’s so hot that I’m overly concerned but Jinx my one rabbit today when he lied down he’s shaking and I’m wondering if I should be concerned 😟

Could she just be feeling warm? Sometimes bunnies are less active when it’s hot outside, even if they are inside with the AC on.

If she’s eating and pooping a good amount (though smaller), I’d just monitor for now. Perhaps she was feeling particularly “blah” today and so she did not eat as much hay as normal, or perhaps was more lazy/relaxed/inactive due to a short discomfort, leading also to the smaller poos. If things continue to get worse, such as losing appetite, little…[Read more]

If housed indoors with reliable (and accurate) central air/AC running, it should be fine. If they are unable to escape sunlight shining through windows or something, please give them access to shaded areas as the temperature in direct sunlight can definitely be too hot.

Hey everyone! I have two lionhead rabbits that are 100% indoor and free roam in separate rooms. It is super hot and humid where I live right now (91 degrees with 95% humidity). We keep the AC at about 74-75 degrees inside and they both have ceiling fans in their rooms and 24/7 access to fresh water. Should I be concerned about them having problems…[Read more]

I’ve had her for 2.5 years. She’s eating fine, but she pooped small poops earlier today and still isn’t pooping as much as she normally does. I think she was stressed, I massaged her belly, she’s laying pretty relaxed right now. I don’t know what to do, she seems perfectly fine but i don’t know what’s happening with the pooping?!

Sounds great that he’s doing so much better! 🐰
Cisapride or metoclopramide really can turn a bun around. As you say, this is a waiting game now. Hopefully he’ll just keep improving!

Today I emptied my kitchen and laid down a floor for them. They’ve never been in the kitchen yet, and the materials are all new to them as well. There’s a towel over the fence so they won’t see that they’re only a metre away from known territory.
Lifting them a couple of steps to the kitchen was difficult and stressful for everybody, because I…[Read more]

How long have you had her for? It sort of sounds like she’s just mellowed out and is used to her environment. Is she still eating and pooping fine?
