You could try a damp moist (preferably not ice cold) very soft piece of fabric. I think he will eventually remove it himself though. It’s extra visible on a white rabbit, but it doesnt resemble anything that could be due to illness. It is probably a food stain. Does he seem ok otherwise? (Appetite, poop, energy level etc).

Maybe try and call into some of the listed airlines below and see if they allow rabbits onto international flights to the UK? I’m not sure if all of these airlines fly towards the UK, however, I think it’s best to look into it and give it a shot.

Thank you for the reply, I’ve looked at some symptoms of ringworm and similar skin infections and thankfully he hasn’t shown any of the listed symptoms. I’ll keep monitoring him to see if the spot resolves on its own or if it progresses.

Hmm… it doesn’t really look like a bug bite to me. It’s flaky/crusty, like ringworm or a similar skin infection.

United allows pets in a carrier that fits under the seat within the continental US. I don’t know about international flights.

I did bring this up to my vet when I was getting my second bunny spayed, they totally dismissed it and said some bunnies are just really stubborn with litter training.

Update-he went to the vet!

The vet said his ears are genetic-he’s a helicopter! I asked about the little cartilage bump on the floppy ear and he said it’s unrelated nothing to worry about.

I use compressed paper pellets. She doesn’t.

Is she young and unspayed? Another thought is that her hormones have kicked in.
