She doesnt show any of those signs. Here is a picture that resembles her worms, except hers were in her cecotropes:
I think hers are pinworms. So I could just buy a dewormer and I wouldn’t have to take her to the vet?

I think Daisy may have gotten the worms from eating grass. We put her in a pen outside for a few hours each day and she obviously eats grass. I will NOT be letting her eat grass anymore. I don’t see how else she could’ve gotren them, as she’s an only bun.

Most worms that affect buns do not harm. They’re mostly disgusting to the bun owner. Could you get us a picture or find one online that resembles the worms you saw?
There are dewormers that can be used for buns. Fenbendazole (one brand name is Panacur) is one. Ivermectin is effective against some internal parasites.

Daisy was on the couch with me. Suddenly I saw a cecotrope on the blanket she was on and there were small skinny worms wiggling in it. I don’t know what to do or what kinds of worms they are. Does she need to go to the vet? Could they be passed to my other animals or me? Please help.

Oh dear!
Thank you for the update and of course no need to apologize! And yes what a relief it isn’t an illness!
Of course if your friend wants help with re-bonding/bonding you could encourage her to make an account and give us more info 🙂

Ohh!
No need to apologize obviously! Just so great that she’s found out the cause of his weight loss, and that it isn’t some horrible illness!

I got a message from her today and she wants to apologize, she figured out what made her male lose weight. Her female was being a bully to him, she chased him away from the hay rack so she’s going to seperate them and hope for the best.

It is a screw that comes with some Oxbow toys, however, you can find them in craft stores/Etsy.

Also some toys that saved my carpets in the past were cardboard cat scratchers (esp the ones with different shapes), sea grass mats, newspaper paper mats, and recently water hyacinth mats! Phone books can also be really great at satisfying that urge to dig/shred.

One thing to keep in mind is that with some rabbits this can turn into a bit of a game. If your bun really likes attention, the act of you coming over to redirect them actually rewards them for chewing on something they aren’t supposed to.
I’ve had some luck with distracting the bun with a light spritz of water, in combination with many of the…[Read more]

If not eating hay is an issue, Sherwood sells an all Timothy hay for this reason.
My two may eat hay well, may not. With this free fed pellet, I don’t worry about hay consumption.
Your boy must have an awesome smile 😁

How is she doing now?
Yes, keep it clean and dry, Neosporin should be good for infection.

You can redirect them, but it really depends on the bunny. I have had some luck with “timeouts” (essentially redirecting). Not because they understood they were being “punished” for something. They didn’t. But because the “timeout” would break the cycle of constantly circling back to the same spot to chew or whatever. You have to be firm though.…[Read more]

I would double check with your vet, could be they missed something. I know before Luna was spayed she was pooping every where when i let her out once i got home. Now i havent seen her do it once. I caught her peeing 1-2 times but still she’s been good with the whole pooping on the floor outside her playpen.
