We have now started bonding the boy with them and so far so good, he couldnt care less and they surprisingly seem to really like him. I’m taking it extremely slowly ! Hi everyone!
I am involved in a rescue from a park of mixed wild and abandoned dumped rabbits. Rufus, The one that we are fostering/adopting (will attach pic) looks like a meat rabbit and is in relatively good condition. He was castrated straight away and is 2.5kg! Lots of others from the park are fast much more wild than him, we have released…[Read more]

I got this lint remover from amazon for very cheap! It gets out a lot of fur and hay!

I got the box in the mail today! And it works beautifully.
However, I was wondering how you can hide it? It’s a big box that is very visible to the living area and I live in a small apartment… I got 2 boxes – I was able to cover one up with the box that it came in by flipping it upside down and carving out a door.

Could you get someone to hold him? This person could hold the bun so its back is against the holding person’s belly. Hold the hind legs with one hand, (the bun must not be able to kick out!) the front lwgs with the other. You only need to take a quick peek.
Another method is to place a mirror on a table or the floor, add treats and try to sneak a…[Read more]

Bam replied to the topic Worried about our bunny in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 4 years ago
You do need a vet for this. He should get a painkiller and an x-ray of his would be good too, in case he has skeletal injury to his face. But at least a painkiller. Any vet could prescribe that (rabbits typically get dog meloxicam, 1.5 mg/ml), but it’s of course a problem if vets refuse to see rabbits. Meloxicam is commonly given to rabbits at a…[Read more]

This morning our bunny (Netherland dwarf) got scared all of a sudden die no reason, and started running around his cage and he hit his face/mouth very bad against it. Since then, he has stopped eating (he keeps trying to eat hay and his pellets, and we also tried to give him his favorite treats, but he can’t chew and spits them out). We have c…[Read more]

Hello Everyone,
I never thought I would be writing this post. I lost my first bunny five years ago and it was such a deep pain, and now I’m back here again. My heart is cracking as I’m typing.
My sweet Magnolia past away today. I took her to her vet yesterday morning as I noticed she had lost some weight, but was otherwise eating and acting…[Read more]

You shouldn’t let be jumping around too much as that may open the incision. When Luna got Spayed she was still a bit under so it was easy to check but after a few days I would offer her a treat. Not a whole one just half. Im sure others will chime in with different suggestions.

I watched that video and tried it with Dorian when I first got him. So did not work. I can try it with Miu. I don’t want her high as she does leap and kick. She’s calmer on the ground. She totally panics and goes into full flight mode. Her little heart also starts to race really fast and she pants. On the ground she feels a little less out of…[Read more]

Hello everyone!I became a rabbit mom just week ago and I am new to binky bunny. My name is Manushi and my rabbit is a mini lop named Mochi. She is almost 2 years old and a very social and energetic bunny (a little overboard sometimes 😂). She is always curious to meet new people and would give zoomies if she likes you. She would get spayed soon…[Read more]

The one side of his face is clean but now the otherside is a bit messy, we had to reschedule his appointment so now it’s August 21st.
