So we brought home two new buns back in May (it’s been slow to get them to warm up to us, but that’s another story!) They were 11 months old, spayed (apparently) and bonded.
Anyway, on certain occasions, Zelda and Peach would get into a fight. Nipping, spinning around each other, pulling fur, and sometimes kicking each other back until we break…[Read more]

I agree with LBJ. The abx does kill off some of the beneficial gut bacteria, and it takes a bit of time for the gut to get back into good working order. So you might notice some gurgling, possibly some gas discomfort, for a few weeks more, but as your buns appetite (esp for hay) stays good, things will righten themselves.

Yep, no reason to have the temptation there for predators if you don’t have to.

LBJ10 replied to the topic Would I be covered? Bank Card in the forum THE LOUNGE 3 years, 10 months ago
I don’t know how it is in other countries, but here is how it works in the US. If you have a bank account and they give you a debit card, you are not responsible for unauthorized purchases. If you notice suspicious activity on your account, then you notify the bank. They will reverse the unauthorized charges, freeze your account, and then send you…[Read more]

Yes, it could be gas. You can try giving simethicone to see if it helps.

This looks like a response to belly pain. She is pressing her belly to the floor. It looks different with different buns. Sometimes it looks like a failed pushup, sometimes it looks like a failed yoga pose.

So earlier I dropped a receipt on the floor by accident and one of my bunnies took and started running around the room with it in her mouth and she would not let me have it. I chased her, well kind off slowly chased her around the room and I just stood there watching her with a smile on my face thinking how adorable it was.
What is your bunny moment?

So I have account that I’ve not used in a few years because I just used it to to keep money in and I got a letter recently that says its inactive and I need to re-activate it so I went to my bank to do just that and I was told I will be sent a new card and pin.
This is where it gets tricky… I don’t always get my mail and now I’m worried that my…[Read more]

I tend not to give my bunnies cardboard or paper because they literally eat it and I don’t think it would do any favors on there digestive system. I could be wrong but I’d rather play it safe.

What I find interesting is all these youtube bunny pen/free roam videos where they have a dog pillow and a material tunnel made from fabric as well as carpet on there pen floor or rug. In reality those sorts of setups would never work for 99% of bunnies because they chew everything and there is no stopping them because that is what rabbits…[Read more]

Hey guys! 🐇 👋 The fluff nuggets and I are new here so I thought I’d introduce ourselves. (btw if I’m posting in the wrong section just let me know) So I’ve been a bun mom for six months now. I got my boy, Takoda aka Toki bear, on March 26. He’s a mini rex/ lionhead mix. (7 months old and neutered) And around 3 months ago I got him his forever…[Read more]

Okay ty. I’ll have to check it out. I have one bun who is completely un phased by noises whereas my boy is very sensitive.
(Btw sorry I posted the question twice 🙃 I’m new to binky Bunny and still trying to figure out how it works.)

Yeah I think the flimsier stuff is usually sold as “Poultry netting”, that’s the one to avoid. And I agree that bringing them in at night would be safest, even if the run is very secure.
