In my experience, random internet people looove telling others that what they do is horribly wrong.

Admittedly, it would be bad if your buns consumed vast quantities of ice very rapidly. This is very easy to understand, imagine yourself gobbling up like a pound of ice in moments. Youd probably get an ice cream migraine and possibly throw up…[Read more]

I didn’t know if I should’ve posted this here or on the July chat I started but here we go….

As you know I recently made home-made “popsicles” for the bunnies and 2 people on another rabbit forum told me that frozen food like that is bad for them (though I did say I wasn’t gonna five it to them everyday) and I tried looking it up but the…[Read more]

    Hi BrunosMama 💚!

I’m very sorry you lost Bon.

Was Bon a lop? I’m asking because ear infections are very common in lops and these infections can go undetected for a very long time, even with regular vet health checks. Did you ever notice if he had a hearing problem? An undetected ear infection can sometimes heal spontaneously after having caused…[Read more]

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well!

We sadly lost one of our little floofs this past Monday. But, the cause of death is a bit of a mystery, so I was wondering if anyone else had a bunny with similar symptoms.

A bit of back story on the bun. His name was Cinnabon (Bon for short). He was approximately 3 years old, an adopted Holland lop (or…[Read more]

    Hi everyone,

I am new to this group. I have a 5 month old male bunny name Biscuit! My fiance and I got him when we was 9 weeks old. Biscuit is very social, playful, sweet, and loves attention! My fiance and I just love him! He has become very attached to us and loves spending time us.

When we first got him, we were told he was a mini rex.…[Read more]

I think the risk is low if it’s a dirt basement/cellar underneath the house. Your bunnies would not come in contact with the spray and as long as it isn’t aerosolized, I don’t see how it could reach your bunnies.

I don’t know what they use. All I know is he does a spray

the part of the house where the bunnies are at there’s a dirt basement underneath .

they seem to be doing well.

Do you know what they are using? Is this a basement that air flows from to the rest of the house.

Generally, it’s probably OK since they won’t be anywhere near the spray. But if it’s a bug bombing type operation, then there might be a problem.

our bunnies live inside. The pest control is going to be spraying in our basement and won’t be coming in our house.m

Will my bunnies be okay? It’s almost 90 so it’s too hot for my bunny’s to go outside.

The nutritional analysis seems OK. I’m not seeing an ingredients list on their website though. I assume it is grass-based.

OK, negative for parasites. That’s good. I mean, it is possible to get a false negative with coccidia but you would think they would have seen something if the bunny was exhibiting symptoms. Anemia can also be caused by…[Read more]

Fortunately she tested negative for diseases and parasites, they made blood and poop tests!

At the time she was having tons of incidents of double poops and nowadays she haven’t made a double one since the treatment.

I feed her pellets from a brazilian brand called “NuTrópica”, it’s nationally recommended to small mammals, i feed her the…[Read more]

Hmm… anemia, underweight, unable to gain weight, weird poop… was your bunny tested for diseases or parasites? Coccidia comes to mind. Here is an article on it: http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/GI_diseases/Protozoal_diseases/Cocc_en.htm

Severity of symptoms depends on how many oocytes were ingested.

    I had to google Domperidona. It’s a motility…[Read more]

Treats are no problem with healthy buns! Its just poorly buns that shouldnt have sugary stuff  since it can slow their guts. Bet Thumper is like “Omg, I got the best mum evvah”?!” 🥰

The buns loved their popsicles! Thumper had his gone in less than 10 minutes! Blossom took a little longer but she still ate it which is a win since she doesn’t really like ice cubes!
