Still, we dont want that happening every time someone edits a post (says me a notorious self-editor!).
That does help to know what might have happened though, thanks.

Hello! Long time, no see. I hope you are staying safe.
I do remember you had to deal with nursing Theo through GI stasis several times. I don’t remember if his teeth were part of that issue? With his biting fecal poops and eating less hay, I would look to teeth first. Always worth keeping an eye on with stasis-prone bunnies. Do you think…[Read more]

I don’t know, I didn’t even mention “spam” this time! 😆
No don’t worry about the first one, I think I rambled on more than enough with this one. 😉
It showed up at first, but then I edited it once, I think that must have caused the problem. If I post without editing it works every time.

Discussing intentional breeding isn’t allowed on this forum.
You can’t keep two intact rabbits together, same sex or not. They will fight, breed or both.
I understand you love your rabbit and want one that’s like him. But please consider how many rabbits are in shelters right now, being put down because nobody wants them. Don’t add to that by…[Read more]

Yesterday I wrote this big, way too long post about neutering, but it disappeared. 🙁 That’s what I get for not copying it for safety 😆
Anyway, the gist of it was: Giant breeds mature slower than regular sized buns. Yours might not hit puberty until they’re around 9 months old. Puberty hormones are what tells the growth plates to close, if…[Read more]

Hi all,
It’s been a long while since I’ve posted here on binkybunny.
I have a house rabbit – Theodore – who recently turned 5 years old. So he’s getting older but not exactly over the hill yet! I have noticed some changes in his behaviour over the past few weeks which I am quite concerned about – I am hoping someone might be able to offer some…[Read more]

Hello all
My little Flemish tyrant Loofah is going through his teenage period. I love him to pieces but his behaviour drives me nuts sometimes!
I’m new to rabbits. I feel like I have gained a breadth of knowledge through research before picking him up after the covid19 lockdown. I am raising this question because I’m finding it difficult to…[Read more]

Bam replied to the topic How many times should I feed my bunny in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 4 months ago
As a rule, you fill the pellet bowl up, then replenish when the bun has eaten all of it. Young rabbits should be free fed, but some buns are total pigs and cant be trusted with unlimited access to pellets. It is good to weigh young buns weekly and keep a weight chart. They should gain steadily and rather rapidly, sometimes quite amazingly rapidly.…[Read more]

Bam replied to the topic eye goop? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 4 months ago
Common causes are foreign object in the eye (often piece of hay), dental problems, plugged up tear ducts or an eye infection. How old is your rabbit? Is there redness in the eye?
