OMG those legs and feet!

He looks like he has deer legs!

Oh it still looks pretty rough, I also got this pic of how he was laying when I walked in. I dunno if they shaved his legs too or what, but he looks like he’s wearing fuzzy slippers. His back feet look giant compared to his skinny little body too.

If it happens while they’re laying down and resting/sleeping, it could be snoring. When one of mine snores I could see the noise being mistaken for a cooing sound as well.

His fur is looking better too! So happy to hear he’s settling in. 🙂

A broken toenail is painful, but most bunnies seem to shake it off pretty quickly. I really would try to take a look at it though, just to make sure only the nail was broken. She’s a year and a couple months. She the blood was definitely not from pee. She uses her litter box and I have checked in there, as well as all over her cage.

It doesnt seem like sth bad. If it were congested-nose-sounds, it would increase when the bun is excited. I had a bun with a congested nose, it was more audible when he was eating a favorite treat or if if he was upset for some reason, f ex when being handled.

I wouldn’t use any essential oils directly on a rabbit. There is potentially even danger with diffusing them with rabbits.

Hmmm, they sound to be a relatively new bond? Sometimes newer bonds can be upset by seemingly minor changes in the home. Maybe a new smell, pet, person, sound, etc.

Have you checked them over for any broken skin? Broken skin indicates a more serious fight that might have damaged the bond.

If she seems uncomfortable, a call to vet is of  course the best thing. How old is your rabbit? There are instances when f ex a bad UTI can lead to blood in the urine.
