Oh gosh! It’s July! New thread time!

my bun will also get green paws after washing himself after a bowl of leafy greens… certain greens seem to make it brighter. His white nose marking also gets green, it usually fades pretty quickly. As other have said I would really worry about it, especially if it’s not sticky seeming and he hasn’t been acting ill.

When bunnies are flopped, sometimes their breathing looks more exaggerated. If you are concerned, then you should take your bunny to the vet. I agree with Jersey. A possible URI isn’t considered a HUGE emergency, but if your bunny has unexplained sneezing/runny nose then you shouldn’t let that fester.

It isn’t unusual for white paws to get a green “tint” from hay dust. This is particularly true if hay is kept in the litter box.

Has Dobby been assessed for the running nose/ sneezing before?  Does he have clear discharge or is it opaque?

I do think a vet visit would be wise because there is always a risk of a respiratory infection moving in deeper and causing pneumonia.

I think it could be veggies, because while examining his paws there were little bits of dirt from the lettuce (fresh from my garden). It could also be his hay, but I don’t think it is discharge from his nose because he is behaving very normally, flopping, grooming and all.

Just noticed several brown spots on the towel in our bun’s cage, which smell like people sweat This is the first we have noticed this. Fresno definitely looks like a deer

It may be from eating veggies, a mixture of moisture and hay dust, or green discharge from the nose, though the latter would show some other concerning signs. Do any of these seem plausible to you?

The weirdness may be due to a change in pattern now that back I’m in work and not spending hours cuddling her during the day. We currently have her out running around and she’s done quite a few full sprint binkies so I’m thinking she’s likely quite good.

Hi I de molt mostly everyday. I brush and then go over with my hands to see if there’s any loose I can get out. I think the probability is fur pulling and having been with them most days for the majority of the day I haven’t seen any tiffs. The first is the possibility it sounds like you’re wondering about, which is whether one rabbit is pulling out the fur of the other. If this is a possibility,  they may be having a tiff in their bond they might require some assistance if it’s not worked out. Be observant and notice if this may be the cause.
