Beaphar Fly Guard spray has ivermwctin, which is closely related to selamectin (Revolution, Stronghold) and safe to use on rabbits. I found these instructions:

Hmm It could be the blanket but probably not. Maybe its just a habit? Honestly I am clueless what it is🤔 You should see what he does when you are not on the couch. I wish I knew what it was so I could help!
I hope everything goes well!😊

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support, it means a lot to me. I wish I could reply to each one of you individually but I am not quite sure how to do it so I will just post this, hoping you will read it. Dealing with such a loss somehow feels a bit easier when we find people who really understand, even if we’re strangers to each…[Read more]

Hi all,
Just wanted to make a post in honour of Mr Rabbit, who left us this day last year. This forum was very useful to us in finding information and advice back then, and still is for my remaining pair, so I think he would want me to make a post here.
On this day in 2019 when he died, it was truly awful, and I still feel the pain today. I…[Read more]

I am not experienced with that fly guard spray, so I cannot vouch for its safety. You would probably still need to go through the task of manually removing all of them so itd be good to find a tool or method that works best.
I think finding another vet sounds like a good avenue. It is odd the vet didnt try anything or give you any…[Read more]

I will post a picture soon when I can. I have been recommended beophar fly guard spray, Do I simply spray this all over his body?
I will also be looking to find a new vet because he couldn’t bother checking them under a microscope. I also think these are hay/static mites. Any picture I found of these have been to look the same. Reddish coloured o…[Read more] -

Hazel: They are all girls! (Although some of them like to think otherwise:lol:) I got them from someone who has lots of rabbits, so I can’t tell what Smokey and OB’s breed is. I’m guessing they are all descended from a Californian and an Australian?

Thanks again for the advice and great site. I have read some other stories and of course all are a bit different but it helped.
I put them together 10am Saturday and by 10pm no fur pulled or scuffles. They haven’t worked out the relationship yet either though. Elmer did some too rough grooming, maybe light nips and once she hopped away he’d…[Read more]

Agree with LBJ. He should get some kind of treatment to try to get rid of them, whatever they are.

@HipHopBunny Thanks! They all get along pretty well. 🙂 What’s the boy/girl ratio with your trio? I’m guessing OB is a girl and Smokey is a boy? I can’t quite tell with Silver (girl)?

OreoMyBaby started the topic Is Red/Black pee an emergency…??? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 2 months ago
Hii. This is a bit of a gross subject but I don’t want to call the vet and look silly. I’m a first time bunny owner, and i know that normally red/organge pee is normal, left over from veggies and stuff. It’s happened a few times to Oreo.
I was only concerned, because when I woke up today to check on him, he had peed outside of the litter box,…[Read more]
