The rescue I volunteer for was one of those who took in rabbits from the Texas operation. While no one took the time to properly bond any of those rabbits (obviously; the conditions were indeed terrible), many ended up bonding due to the stress most likely, similar to your pair.

Bubbles is down to half of his original dose of Prednisolone, still no sign of low blood sugar. 🙂

I think I must have the laziest floppiest bun ever, then again he had a rough day yesterday so I’ll cut him some slack. Though really I think this is how he is most of the time, I though young buns were supposed to be more active! 😀

@RabbitLover908 – sorry I am in US, so not sure about where to find wood in UK. I would try a lumber yard or larger hardware store, google might help. Pine should be pretty readily available.

Is her cage big enough? How big is it? Does she have toys and free roam playtime? I agree with the posts above that she might stop if you give her things to chew like grass mats and willow sticks. You could also try making her a dig box. Hope this helps.

Seeing as the Nolvasan treatment is also chlorhexidine is reassuring, I think seeing everywhere that it was meant for cats and dogs only was causing a bit of concern for me.

Even though you said they get along, I would just to make sure they are going to be safe together. I would do bonding sessions everyday for a while and increase the time of the bonding sessions until you think they are good together. I’m not an expert! Just an idea. 🙂

Yes, I would wash it for your safety and his. Make sure to use unscented laundry detergent and no softener or dryer sheets.
