Haha, we can’t help it 😝 They flopped together in Louie’s old xpen with I neutralised and added both their stuff! I also noticed that when I ran the vacuum, Lola was super scared and ran into her hidey spot, but Louie isn’t scared of the vacuum, so he hung around me then ran over to Lola to give her comfort.

@Louiethebunny YAY! That is an adorable photo! Don’t tell me they have flopped next to each other in the actual territory? Speed dating really does magic. 🙂 And yes, agree with Hazel, you all are Big Show Offs! 😛

So a few things. For the wires, would you be ok with the room being a little ugly? You can put nic cubes around the room and run the wires behind them. Bunny won’t be able to chew them and it will also keep hey from chewing the baseboards.
Is your bunny spayed? If not her behavior should be better if you spay her. You’ll also save her from…[Read more]

Bam replied to the topic EMERGENCY! My rabbit has not eaten in 8 days in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years ago
You should be feeding her if there is no blockage. Rabbits need food in their tums always. Give a littlw bit more often rather than a big meal with many hours in between.
I’m very sorry.

Thanks guys! He’s being a little weird this morning hanging out in his litter box instead of eating pellets and salad but he is eating hay in there so I think he’s alright. Just weirds me out because he’s a little piggy and normally inhales his pellets 🙂

I agree with the others, you are doing a great job. My first rabbit Bam who I found outside in the woods, sat under a coffee table for a year before he warmed up to his humans! I didnt know what to expect of a rabbit, so I just let him do his thing, like. He only let me pet him when he was deeply concentrated on eating a treat. After about a year…[Read more]

Thank you @DanaNM for the reply!! I really appreciate it. And ya patients is really hard. I think it’s just even more frustrating because my other bunny was the easiest ever. No troubles at all but I can’t really compare them. Every bunny is different just like humans. It just all really caught me off guard since the adoption center said Alaska…[Read more]

Thank you for the support @HipHopBunny !!! I really appreciate the help. I think she’s skittish and she grew up in not the best environment. I adopted her from a bunny rescue in my area and they received her from a couple that found her with her sister and mom in a parking lot. They have been living out there for awhile. I am not sure what age she…[Read more]

It is common for the first real poop after a bout of stasis to be sticky and unformed. Cisapride causes the intestines to move, which is the reason you give cisapride to stasis buns. So in a way the cisapride is partly responsible for this, but its a good thing. You may see weird poop now for the next 2 weeks or so, until the tummy is in balance…[Read more]

Thank you for your advice, folks!
I have an update. I am emotionally exhausted so I’m just going to copy-paste my facebook post.

Very messy! And yet, for some reason the act of ripping the pages always seems so satisfying.

If it is a pulled muscle, then yes it should heal with time. The only treatment would be rest and possibly pain meds. If she had that kind of injury, I would worry about a torn ligament. Does the joint still feel solid?
