We had a blast with naming wars!  (Even though a certain moderator decided to take over the naming master title lol)

Wow! Thank you for rescuing this bunny! It’s so great that he/she is doing ok, and because it is so social, I would guess it was dumped recently by someone who couldn’t care for it or didn’t want it, which sucks. It may not be possible, however I would try to get it into a vet sometime, that way you can get a general check in on it’s health, sex, age, etc.

Thank you so much 🙂 I really am glad Leo is doing so well, he’s always been such a strong bun. We’ll keep doing what we can here and hopefully it gets easier soon. We’ve been sharing lots of memories of Luna and laughing at all her antics.

I just found out about an RHDV2 vaccination event at a shelter near me… but it’s an hour and a half away. it’s $35 per rabbit, and the only other shelter charges much higher, but I’m not sure if a 3 hour total trip would be good for the rabbits…

If food doesn’t work, you could also try herding him back into his pen with a towel, or anything else that with create a barrier. Just block his path, and as he moves closer to the pen walk with him so he can escape farther away. Eventually he will be forced to go into the pen. I hope food works for you though it’s a lot easier!

Well I’m not quite sure if the pharmacy made a mistake o if the vet called it in wrong. They’ll probably blame each other and I’ll be stuck with the bill. 🙄

Cool! I’ll probably look online for the materials and visit a hardware store and look around, if the homemade route is significantly more expensive, I’ll just opt for another xpen and “cute” it all up. Most of our bunny stuff is DIY or repurposed, so I bet I can work something cute out.

Sure, it would work I think. 🙂  I love the look of those homemade enclosures, they’re very cute. I just went the other direction, took Oscar’s old (store bought) run apart, got rid of all the wood and put the metal grids back together as a makeshift x-pen.
