Yes, her fur is VERY soft. So a Charlie is a mix of a few different breeds? Also, I’m wondering if maybe she is part lop ear because occasionally one of her ears will droop down like a lop.

How long would I need to feed her this very very high fiber diet for the gas to stop? She’s been on it for weeks now with no improvement

We do believe she has intermittent slowdown as she poos very well and then at other times of the day she goes badly.

I took a sample of the poo to the vets and he was pleased with the poos, no infection, parasites, they were overall generally normal shape and size according to him. She done 250+ yesterday.

@JackRabbit Yeah I wanna do more of the under the bed storage bin idea for when I have both of the bunnies in one pen. Cause they’ll have more space when I put them together. I’ll have to find a bin like that but smaller for now. I’m hoping the bunnies won’t take too long to bond lol!

I use two huge cat litterboxes for my lops but if you have the space, I’ve seen people use under-the-bed storage boxes, garden trays, and cage bottoms with the cage part removed as well.

Agree with putting litter and hay in the bottom of the carrier. Ideally you could even sit a litter box in the bottom of the carrier to keep everything contained. Having some fresh veggies on hand will help keep her hydrated as well.

Yes, I rubbed the plushie’s nose on his forehead, so that he wouldn’t feel like it’s refusing his request and disrespecting him. 😉  It wasn’t very graceful, but he was cool with it. 😆

@Louiethebunny Yeah I’ve heard that dark nails are hard to trim. What do you file them down with? I’m nervous to get close to the quik! Even on my cats I just trim a little bit at a time. I hope the bunnies don’t give me a hard time when I have to cut their nails lol. Also where do you put the bunnies when you cut their nails? Thanks. 🙂
