Bazil is beautiful! He’s so lucky to have found you. 🙂
I’m sorry I’m not much help on this. MediRabbit has an interesting article on fibrosarcoma though, I don’t know if you saw it.

Her nails are typically trimmed once a month. Not sure what happened on that major typo at the end.

Sudocream? Is there a brand or is this an ingredient in the cream? Any brand recommendations and should I be able to get this at any pharmacy supply?
Also the same questions for silvadene.
Karou (she’s a rex mini so already has super thin paw fur) saw the vet yesterday who said it is not infected but to keep an eye on it. The vet believes…[Read more]

No, a Charlie simply means she has two copies of the broken gene (En). Two copies results in an almost all white rabbit with less than 10% color (typically located on the ears, around the eyes, and on the nose/cheeks). Her base color is light gray, but the broken gene creates a “broken pattern” with white fur. The broken gene has been introduced…[Read more]

PrinceDorian: Yes they were good bunnies, Plumpy liked to eat remote control buttons though lol.

After taking her the vets today she stopped eating. Probably sure to her going the vets, hours drive away, during her nap time. So she’s slept all day. This is the poos once she did them eventually. She seems to feel much better bow she’s pooped.
They were all different shapes and sizes strung together by a yellow and brown mucus.

borya01 started the topic Can anyone recommend if any of these products are a suitable replacement for hay in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years ago
Hey guys. I have had to stop feeding my rabbit timothy hay because it is triggering my asthma attacks. I realize how important hay is so I am looking for an alternative. Right now she has the compressed cubes (they are timothy hay, with just some alfalfa in to bind it), but I wanted to try something else.
A rabbit org near me recommended this…[Read more]

Hey I just saw this @DanaNM. I hate to say this but I have no access to fresh veg, but I’m glad you mention this because I need to keep her hydrated. I wonder if one of those water bottles that clips on a door would work for her? She has never used one before, she drinks out of a bowl. Thanks for bringing this up.
I have to use pee pads with her…[Read more]

HipHop: Agreed. I keep petting Dorian’s picture on the screen but it’s just not the same… 😉
Otis tries, but for some reason Oscar isn’t into his affections. Maybe the wet nose is a turn-off? 😆

PrinceDorian: Old photos work great, that’s what I used, haha. Ditto what Hazel said, I NEED TO PET THAT RABBIT!!! You have no idea how much it is costing me to look at him, and not be able to smush that little face! You need to give him LOTS of pets for me. 😉

Yes, her fur is VERY soft. So a Charlie is a mix of a few different breeds? Also, I’m wondering if maybe she is part lop ear because occasionally one of her ears will droop down like a lop.

How long would I need to feed her this very very high fiber diet for the gas to stop? She’s been on it for weeks now with no improvement

Jadeo09 replied to the topic Inch long droppings normal? in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years ago
We do believe she has intermittent slowdown as she poos very well and then at other times of the day she goes badly.
I took a sample of the poo to the vets and he was pleased with the poos, no infection, parasites, they were overall generally normal shape and size according to him. She done 250+ yesterday.
She isn’t having a mucky bum so I…[Read more]

@DanaNM Yeah I didn’t know how big he was until I got him. 😆
@JackRabbit Yeah I wanna do more of the under the bed storage bin idea for when I have both of the bunnies in one pen. Cause they’ll have more space when I put them together. I’ll have to find a bin like that but smaller for now. I’m hoping the bunnies won’t take too long to bond lol!

JackRabbit replied to the topic Halfway in the litter box in the forum BEHAVIOR 6 years ago
I use two huge cat litterboxes for my lops but if you have the space, I’ve seen people use under-the-bed storage boxes, garden trays, and cage bottoms with the cage part removed as well.
