Paper towel rolls stuffed with hay and a few pellets hidden inside are very easy and popular with buns 🙂

Rabbits can get dry skin when they molt, so that could be what you’re seeing.

I agree. This sounds like EC, especially if this “white line” is inside the eye (uveitis) since this is most commonly seen in younger rabbits.
