pepsiandalex started the topic Rabbit ate Tiny Glass Shard in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years ago
Hi all,
Sorry for no introduction but I have a rabbit named Pepsi and tonight she knocked over her treat jar and decided to eat treats as well as possibly a piece of glass.
While I know she ate some treats, I also am afraid she ate a shard of glass as she was chewing loudly and it wasn’t like normal. She did not let me grab it out of her mouth…[Read more]

Are these flat scales on the edge of the ears? Or are they like mounds? Do they have a wart-like appearance?

The banana butt twitch is a common phenomena 🙂

Unsure what they are. Not mites. Not flees.
I think they appear if her ears are exposed to water???
She is upstanding ears.
They appear anywhere on ear. Feel like a rock type callous. They don’t scratch off. They can grow and get bigger.
What do I put on them?? So they heal?
Thanks.

his room is right next to the kitchen/dining area so he hops in there as we can all see each other… when he is done eating he just flops in his door way and watches us. I am not sure how to take a photo to show he is eating with us, but here is link of him where he took it to a whole new level of lazy. (it’s Dorian’s instagram account as it is a…[Read more]

So I apologize, in advance for this wall of text, looking for a little help in taking care of a rescued 4-5 week old bunny.

Me and my girlfriend have two currently bonded bunnies. One is a female Netherland Dwarf (Psyron) aged about 7 ½ years. Another is a Male Holland lop aged about 2 years, Arti.
Here is the catch: we recently adopted a bunny…[Read more]

Hmmm, is he acting fine now? Is he still in the position? Did he just stop right there and flop? I would say it seems fine. Some buns like to get comfortable in odd ways. 😉 I have a bun who likes to sleep on vents and door-stoppers. 😆 Agreed, he sure is cute! 😀

I am not sure how normal it is, but I do have to say he is too cute! It looks like he loafed and just got way to tired to hold up his head.

That sounds so cute! I agree! Pics are a must!
Not sure if it’s a common bunny thing but my grandparents dog does this as well.

Yes Bu Jovi is almost 12! No one suspects it though, they always think he is like 5 or 6. We thought we were going to lose him a year or so ago when he got stasis on a Saturday night (no ER vets in our area), but we got him through and ever since then we just feel like we are getting bonus time with him. 🙂

It is pretty heavy, so I think if the edges of the pen covered the edges of the lino you would be OK without weighing it down.
You can get it at hardware stores, they will cut the amount you need. Sometimes they have remnant pieces for cheaper than buying it off the big rolls.
