Hi
Thanks so much for your help.
She has a lump near her mouth that has a white head on it. It’s too painful for her to eat so we are now syringe feeding her until we can get the lump to go down.
Ive had a sample taken and analysed. It’s mainly inflammatory cells but it develops pus which stops her eating.
It responds well to hibiscrub but…[Read more]

THUMP!THUMP!THUMP!!
Midnight, I’m topping off an aquarium, and Alfred starts thumping repeatedly and with grunts. I drop everything, race to her, and she hops away, pausing to thump again and again. I can’t see anything wrong with her space, Karou her not-yet-bonded neighbor is laying down for a post salad nap, so I go back to what I’m doing. As…[Read more]

Will he sit in your lap? If not, then it might be helpful to put him on something unfamiliar and high up. A kitchen table, counter or washing machine works.

I agree with the others. If you decide to pursue this, proceed with extreme caution.

I’m confused, why does he have access to the guinea pig’s hay? Or why can’t you use the same type of rack for him?
Have you tried just putting hay in the litter box, not in a rack? Some bunnies really prefer it that way.

Oh, yes that would take away the bulk of the bunny wanting. π (There’s still that little percentage though… π ) Hopefully, you have a good time there, fingers crossed that travel does not shut down! π (Of course, you’ll have to share your experiences there with us! π )
Wishing you easy traveling! π

Sven did in fact get adopted! I knew he would LOL. Good thing too… it was too tempting. I also really like Petey, and looks like they are going to bond him with this little lady who’s sister died, so that also removes that temptation.
I have no interest in Charlotte LOL. I love her but she got spayed a few weeks ago and has been CRAY CRAY…[Read more]

I wouldn’t recommend taking your rabbit out on a leash in the public. Dogs could injure him, and as @Wick said, there are many other variables that could scare or harm your rabbit. Something that I do (After 2 years of finding a leash that my bun didn’t wiggle out of!!!) is take my bun out in the yard, and he likes to hang around and…[Read more]

I’ve been trying the towel tactic for the past two nights. The first night it worked really well, the second night he figured out how to wiggle between the towel and the cage and got stuck, twice. The second time, I accidently left the cage door open when I rescued him because I was half asleep and he slept under my dresser. The playpen is…[Read more]

Once picky, always picky… unfortunately. Sometimes bunnies are just picky when it comes to hay. You can even buy the brand they normally like and it will somehow be a “bad batch”.

Testicles do naturally hang, so it sounds like they have descended and he’s ready to be neutered. Unless what you’re saying is they were already descended, but now there is a noticeable difference in how much they are showing un-retracted (ex. they are swollen or something).

Hello,
I have a 10 months old rabbit, I suddenly noticed today that when he was sitting, his testicles here touching the floor, I’ve never seen this before, I know they are testicles, it keeps contracting and retracting but it looks like its hanging, is it normal? I am unable to get a picture as I touched a dog and he sniffed it on my hand and…[Read more]

Jadeo09 replied to the topic Can anyone recommend if any of these products are a suitable replacement for hay in the forum DIET & CARE 5 years, 11 months ago
I also agree woth the others. My rabbit needed monthly dental procedures until we took her off pellets. They cause the teeth to ground in an unnatural way compared to actual leaves that they would eat in the wild.
Have you considered growing your own grassa and weeds. There areΒ grass seeds that can be grown very quicklyΒ in the house, but that a…[Read more]
