Does anyone know if bonjela can be used on rabbits? Or possibly some other numbing cream/gel that can be used on the mouth?

          Hmm, I’m not sure.

What’s going on with your bunny?

            Hi

Thanks so much for your help.

She has a lump near her mouth that has a white head on it. It’s too painful for her to eat so we are now syringe feeding her until we can get the lump to go down.

Ive had a sample taken and analysed. It’s mainly inflammatory cells but it develops pus which stops her eating.

It responds well to hibiscrub but it comes back when I stop. We may have stopped too soon.so we are trying to exhaust all options before it being surgically removed due to anaesthesia risk with her being 10 in December.

So I thought if I could use a numbing gel or cream it could encourage her to eat by herself to stop the gi stasis coming back.
