Is the movement similar to a binky? I’m wondering if it’s an expression of energy for doing a pee out of the litterbox, either as a victory for marking territory maybe? Does this movement every happen during the urination? Unfixed rabbits especially will pee while binkying in order to better spray their scent around the room.

I noticed my rabbit shakes her whole body and head ( like when a dog shakes to fry its fur ) right after she Pees finish.
She seems to only do this if she pees outside her potty. If she pees inside her potty , she does not do this.
Does anyone know what it means ?

@DanaNM – he actually was being good, he’s recently been allowed access to that chair so I think he feels like he is getting away with something just sitting up there!(I am hoping to eventually uncage my couch once he thinks of the chair as his instead). Also reread my post and seeing so many typos/proof reading fails, sorry everyone!

Haha yeah, grandma always waves her hand directly in her face, I’d be annoyed too if I was her. But grandma is 100 times larger than my bunny, how could she misunderstand grandma as a rabbit???

Chinning is fine! It’s just marking the new things. Sometimes new couples will mark a lot to stake out “their” new turf. Zoomies and binkies together without it leading to a scuffle is very good! 🙂
The issue with a baby monitor is that if something serious happened you might not get there in time.
If it isn’t feasible to sleep closer to them (I…[Read more]

So technically he responds to “nonononoooonono” (no raised voice, he’s not a fan) . Yesterday he was digging where he shouldn’t and I said it to him and he stopped, stared at me for a few seconds and then pretty much started up again, but the third time he stopped and went in his diggy box instead. I didn’t even have to get up! It’s only taken…[Read more]

DanaNM – Those costumes from the thread you linked are too cute!
@Starlightbunny – if you do please take lots of photos and share! Also, I am not sure if I will be, but if I see a cute costume that looks like it will fit Dorian I may.

I also increased the space size for the first time in the neutral area (I didn’t think about that until now) I may have them in the full pen this whole week in my work office. Has anyone used baby monitors for when they are ready for their over night? Idk if that would wake me up or not.
also they seek to be chinning everything this morning. I…[Read more] -

If your buns just chew and dig in fleece blankets, not actually eat them, cheap fleece blankets can be a nice enrichment for them. Activity keeps a bun warm too, and buns often like to dig. I always buy the cheapest fleece blankets I can get, because buns will eventually destroy them no matter what the blankets cost 😄
