Since the dose is probably not extremely high, it is ok to give the dose at 7 pm. I have a rabbit that is on long term metacam, and its not always possible to administer the med at the same time every day. Rabbits metabolize meloxicam rapidly.

There are no good home remedies for chocolate poisoning. You should contact a vet. How long is it since she ate the chocolate? How much did she eat?

I would definitely have it looked into. The other possibility is just a really bad bacterial infection not caused by tooth root problems. The rest of his symptoms don’t appear to be consistent with that though. What you’re describing is very consistent with my experience with this. I 100% agree with the others. Neutering will definitely help, but also have to remember he is a bunny is going to do bunny things.

Yeah definitely something weird going on there. I re-emailed the vet I’ve been taking him to, re-iterating his cheek looks swollen and stressing I think it could be his teeth/elongated tooth roots so I’m hoping she will listen. I can see your profile picture. It’s small, but I would say what I’m looking at does resemble facial paralysis.

The peeing and such as others have said could be helped by neutering. I agree with Dana. Sometimes rabbit poop size fluctuates based on the time of day or just the day in general. One of my rabbits typically always has smaller poops in the AM,

@Hazel I considered going to the casting call because they were looking for tall people (I’m 5’10”), but it would have interfered too much with my research! And yes he made it into the background of one of the shots, you can actually see him leaning in a little to stay in frame LOL 😆
