I am so, so sorry for your loss! You can just tell in the pictures how happy Cookie was. You did everything for her and I know she appreciated it. Remember that she’s looking down on you and she’s your biggest supporter.

LBJ10 – Yes, getting an x-ray done seems like the most sense. I’m a bit nervous, but at least I’ll know how to properly care for her during recovery. Will they have to sedate her during the x-ray?

No harm in getting an x-ray! That way you’ll know if it’s a fracture or just a sprain and then you can treat it accordingly.

I definitely agree with weighing her. If you have vet records there should be a weight on there from a previous visit you can compare with or ring your vet to check what it says on her records. I finally taught Nico how to sleep on my bed without using the bathroom, she is 100% potty trained now I’m so happy! I’ve tested a week with this and she hasn’t used the bathroom once on my bed or my floor!

I’m so sorry for your loss. 🙁 Its true that rabbits hide their symptoms incredibly well, and the pandemic has been so hard in unexpected ways. You did the best you could for her given a very tough situation, and she is no longer suffering.
