The very least we can do is not buy products that are tested on animals, and stay away from companies that do.

At this point, it would probably be best to just stick with the adult formula and increase the amount.

I think saw dust would be messy and could cause respiratory problems. Compressed pine pellets are probably a safer option. If he’s kept in a pen, I think there should be plenty of air circulating.

Hi, Ralph video has been surfing the internet for a while. Since I watched this video my psychology has been broken. I feel so sad, these animals are always on my mind. I can not sleep because of sadness. I cry all the time. Can anyone do something about it? Let’s stop these animal experiments all over the world..

The white endive is very common here in western Europe. It’s often called witlof or witloof, if you ever need more nutritional information about it. We feed it often, and it’s a handy staple because it keeps well in the fridge. It’s dirt cheap over here as well 🙂 Other things we feed often are basil, carrot tops, arugola and corn lettuce:…[Read more]

Hi, my bunny 6 months, unsterilization. I’ve been seeing balls in her butt while my bunny is lying for a few days. Could these be testicles? Is the color normal?

I’m constantly asking questions, sorry. But this is my first rabbit. I’m asking everything to learn.

Endive is in the chicory family. It’s a big family. This group of veg is fine for rabbits. I grow the type of chicory that has blue flowers, for my bun. He gets the leaves. There are many other types of chicory, like chicore frise. One of our members in France used to feed her buns quite a lot of bullet shaped endive.

I had a bun who got fennel…[Read more]

My bunny there is a big living space and spends 6-8 hours a day outside. The door to its room is always open. Turkey but in the winter cold, summer hot country. Windows closed in winter and summer. Air conditioner is on in summer. Do you think pine pellet is suitable?

I do not keep my rabbit in a cage. I bought its a dog park. Lives in a large…[Read more]

@kanin – The buns snuggling with the vacuum – haha! Fizz and Nora are way cute beyond words.

@HipHopBunny – Aw, thank you! Silver is adorable!

And Breintje flopped out in the sun! That’s too cute.

    Hi guys,

Does anyone have advice on endive vs chicory greens? They’re referred differently in different countries and I’m so confused as to which is which. I want to make endive a part of my bun’s daily staple veggies but I’m not sure if those diet lists refer endive as the ones that look like dandelion greens, frisée lettuce, or the bullet s…[Read more]

Heya, there’s something I’ve learned in the time that BB was down, and I’d like to share it here. Rabbits purr softly when they’re happy, and humans can learn it too, to create a happy relaxed vibe together with your rabbit(s). I use it to tell Breintje that I’m comfortable, and we purr back and forth when we snuggle. It can also help when you’re…[Read more]

I have used pine pellets for my buns for many years. The type I use is the kind that are used for heating houses. Most of the potentially harmful compounds in pine evaporate during the pellet manufacturing process. Wood stove pellets are kiln dried.

Whether there’s enough left to be harmful depends on the bun’s living situation. If the bun has…[Read more]

Yes, rodent shavings correct picture. Rodent sawdust is used widely in Turkey. I’ve never seen what you said before. No compressed toilet paper in Turkey. But i found the pine pellet, the price is cheaper. Rodent shavings yes polluting a lot,  but i use it because it is safe. Is pine pellet really safe for rabbits??

I looked up kemirgen talasi, it looks like wood shavings. This is the picture I found:

Wood shavings are safe, but they do tend to make a mess because it gets everywhere.

The product LBJ suggests is made of paper and has no additives (no clay or sand). This type of litter is bunny safe and looks like in this picture:

Since I’ve only had him for a month he hasn’t been to the vet yet but I will be taking him soon. He was on timothy hay so I recently switched to orchard grass which he enjoys more.

Hi, I’ve only had him for a month but I had been feeding him 1/4 cup but he wouldn’t eat much hay so I decreased the pellets to 2 tbsp to increase hay intake which worked out.

Hi, the pellets are an adult formula. Should I increase the pellet intake or should I buy a junior formula?
